🎶 CrossYounity Continues – Now as CrossYounity+!

We are pleased to announce that our former CrossYounity project, implemented by Kécenlét Association as lead partner, in partnership with the Reformed Church of Nyírbátor, continues under a renewed concept and identity:
“Melodic Bridges: Connecting Communities Through Music Across Borders – ROHU0003 – CrossYounity+”, where the stands for added value.
This project is implemented within the Interreg VI-A Romania–Hungary Programme, and it is financed by the European Union through the Interreg Fund, and co-financed by Romania and Hungary. The project total budget is €200,392.92, out of which ERDF contribution (EU funding) is €160,314.33.
Implementation period: 04.03.2025-03.03.2026.
🎯 Main Objective:
To enhance mutual trust in the ROHU cross-border area by connecting a minimum of 60 youth and children from at least 4 communities through collaborative musical activities over the course of 12 months.
🎤 What’s New in CrossYounity+?
As our community has come to expect, we will host four remarkable concerts, this time featuring a new repertoire and an enhanced stage presence.
We’re also expanding our team! In Nyírbátor, children will form a dedicated music group: CrossYounity Kids.
Additionally, we will install a MusicBox in Nyírbátor – a community-building space for youth, offering creative and social engagement opportunities.
Both in Cheț and Nyírbátor, we will organize a series of workshops, debates, and music camps, designed to strengthen skills, deepen collaboration, and create unforgettable experiences for our participants.
CrossYounity+ continues to use the universal language of music to bridge cultural gaps, promote inclusion, and build lasting connections across borders. Stay tuned as we unfold another inspiring chapter of collaboration in the ROHU region.
